Your Legacy Matters!

Your membership in the Heritage Society allows us to recognize and promote your planned giving intention in hopes to inspire the generosity of others. Donors eligible to join the Heritage Society include individuals or couples who have:

  • Informed Niagara University of their plan to make a bequest to benefit the university through their will or living trust. Bequest Intention Form
  • Informed Niagara University that they have designated, in writing, the university as a beneficiary of retirement assets.
  • Established a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or charitable lead trust to benefit Niagara University.
  • Made a gift of a personal residence to Niagara University with a retained life estate
  • Made a gift of a life insurance policy with full ownership rights to Niagara University.
  • Made a verbal intention to include Niagara University as a beneficiary in their estate planning. Statement of Intent for an Estate Gift

Member Benefits Include:

  • Lapel pin and certificate of recognition for joining the Heritage Society
  • Recognition as a Heritage Society member in Niagara University's Annual Report and on a wall of honor
  • Special recognition at selected events, including Alumni Weekend
  • Invitations to the Heritage Society's Annual Appreciation Luncheon and select Niagara University sponsored events
  • Invitations to select athletic events, guest speakers, and on-campus cultural events sponsored by the Castellani Art Museum and Niagara University Theatre
